Position Overview:
We are seeking a Field Operator - Ethylene to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment in the Ethylene plant, ensuring safe and efficient production while complying with QAPCO’s quality and HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Operate process equipment and troubleshoot issues across multiple areas to meet production targets.
🔹 Monitor equipment performance and ensure compliance with operating procedures.
🔹 Collect and record operational data, identifying and reporting any abnormalities.
🔹 Oversee the loading/unloading of raw materials and products as per HSEQ standards.
🔹 Support maintenance activities, ensuring safe handover and return of equipment.
🔹 Participate in commissioning, start-ups, and emergency response activities.
🔹 Communicate effectively with panel operators and other shift staff to ensure smooth operations.
🔹 Maintain detailed logbooks and process logs.
🔹 Operate a forklift as per production and safety requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
✔ Education: High School Certificate (or equivalent).
✔ Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a production plant environment within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
